PM hopeful of more than 6% growth in current fiscal

PM Manmohan Singh on Sunday said he hoped that the country would have more than 6 per cent growth in the current fiscal year despite the global economic meltdown. He was addressing a public rally organized to garner support for Congress party's candidate Mahabal Mishra, for West Delhi parliamentary constituency. The PM said that no other party could match the Congress' understanding of economic issues.
