The Shiv Sena has slammed Congress General Secretary, Rahul Gandhi for raking up the 1999 Kargil conflict with Pakistani infiltrators. Earlier on November 4th, Rahul said that the Congress had backed NDA government-headed by the Bharatiya Janata Party during the war in Kargil sector. Now, the NDA was not backing foreign direct investment (FDI) in retail. Shiv Sena Spokesperson, Sanjay Raut stated that Rahul was still immature and childish. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress (TMC) dared the central government to seek fresh mandate over the issue of FDI.
