Pramod Muthalik taken into preventive custody

The chief of right wing Sri Ram Sene Pramod Muthalik, who had threatened to disrupt Valentine's Day celebrations in Karnataka, along with three other executives of the outfit were arrested on Friday. Home Minister of Karnataka VS Acharaya informed that they were taken into custody as precautionary measure. He also said that Karnataka government had arrested him a day ahead of Valentine's Day after the statement by Union Home Minister P Chidambaram.
