Railway Minister flags off a train to Shirdi

Railway Minister Lalu Prasad flagged off a train to holy pilgrimage site Shirdi located in Maharashtra. There was no rail link to Shirdi and the pilgrims used to reach the shrine by road. The new broad gauge line will provide connectivity to this revered shrine from all parts of the country. Thousands of devotees visit Shridi every year to pay homage at the temple of Sai Baba.
