The strike by the doctors in the state-run hospitals of Jaipur entered the fifth day on Sunday. Around 9000 doctors have taken part in the strike paralysing services in the hospitals. The worst sufferers are the patients particularly those who need immediate care. The state government has sought help from the Army, the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Railways, to tackle the situation. Acting tough, the state government has suspended 15 doctors, while 80 have been arrested.
