Mohammed Safiullah of Hyderabad is the proud owner of the rare photographs of the seven Nizams who ruled Andhra Pradesh for two centuries till independence in 1947. If historian Safiullah is to be believed, Mir Mohammad Ali Khan was the first ruler to be photographed. He said that before that only miniature paintings existed.
