Rose cultivation lures entrepreneurs in Nagaland

Success of rose cultivation in Nagaland is luring local entrepreneurs and self-help groups in the state. About 500 square hectares of land is devoted to cultivation of varieties of roses in Zubza in Kohima district of the state. The horticulture department wanted to test the conditions of Nagaland for the cultivation of roses and once it found that it had the potential to produce roses of international standards there was no looking back.
