Sand art to make people aware of global warming

Making a unique endeavor to spread message about global warming, one of the makeshift tents in west Bengal have made an idol of Goddess Durga with sand. Ace sand artist, Sudarshan Patnaik, has carved the idol for the occasion in just two days. The artist has conceived the Asura Mahisasura- demon whom Durga killed- with a globe in his mouth - as depicting global warming menace, which is engulfing the earth slowly.
