French President Nicolas Sarkozy arrived in Mumbai on Tuesday and paid tribute to the police officials who lost their lives in the deadly 26/11 attacks. Sarkozy laid a floral wreath on the police memorial stone, while his wife and First Lady of France Carla Bruni stood in attention to pay homage to the martyrs. French Marine officers also gave the guard of honour at the memorial site. Sarkozy compared 26/11 with 9/11 and said that terrorism should be outlawed universally.
