Security beefed up ahead of Maha Kumbh Mela

Security has been beefed up at Har Ki Pauri, a revered Hindu place in Haridwar ahead of Maha Kumbh Mela. During the 'Maha Kumbh Mela, millions of devotees converge in Haridwar to take a dip in the holy River Ganges to wash away their sins. Har Ki Pauri, one of the most sacred ghats in India, will be one of the main sites of the Maha Kumbh Mela where pilgrims will perform the ritual.
