Security personnel foil militant's bid to infiltrate in Kashmir

Alert personnel of army gunned down a militant after foiling his attempt to infiltrate in Poonch sector of Kashmir on Monday. Reportedly, the soldiers of 5 Maratha Light Infantry manning the area spotted his movement near Rustam Post. Reportedly, when challenged, he fired at the army patrol and in the ensuing gun battle he was shot dead. Later his body was taken to Mendher Police Station for completion of legal formalities.
