The Jharkhand Police have arrested seven people in connection with the nun-cum-activist Valsha John's murder case. John was killed in Pakur district last week by a mob in the presence of suspected Maoists. Inspector General of Police, Arun Oraon said that 30 Maoists, along with some villagers, committed the crime. He further noted that Maoists follow the strategy of influencing heads of villages, and if they resist then they kill them.
