Sharad Pawar targets BJP on reviving the temple issue

Chief of India's regional Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and farm minister Sharad Pawar on Saturday targeted the main opposition Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party for playing the communal card in the ensuing general elections. Addressing an election rally in Mumbai, to muster support for NCP candidate Sanjay Patil, who is contesting from Mumbai North East constituency, Pawar accused the BJP of triggering communal riots in the country.
