Sonia Gandhi lays the foundation stone of a new IIT

Sonia Gandhi,chief of ruling Congress party laid the foundation stone of a new Indian Institute of Technology or IIT at Kandi village of Andhra Pradesh on Friday.The new campus will provide relief to the students who have been attending classes in a makeshift campus located on the premises of the Ordnance Factory Medak.Addressing a gathering of students and delegates at the foundation stone laying ceremony, Sonia Gandhi said,that given time and adequate resources, IIT Medak will also make its own impact.
