Sugarcane farmers in Maharashtra cry foul against govt

Sugarcane farmers in Maharashtra on Wednesday accused the state government of colluding with mill owners to deprive them of fair prices for their produce. Dada Bhau Khop, leader of the agitating farmers, accused the state government of being unsympathetic to their cause, which had precipitated violence in the state's Sangli and Kolhapur districts.
