Support India's inclusion in UNSC as permanent member: US President Obama

While addressing a gathering at Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi, US President Barack Obama promised to back India for a permanent membership in the United Nations Security Council. While appreciating India's effort for generating cleaner energy, he said that the US welcomes a greater role for India in the Asia Pacific. The US President and American first lady Michelle Obama wrapped up their 3-day visit to India and left for Saudi Arabia from the Indira Gandhi International Airport at 1:30 pm.
