Tibetan refugees residing in Himachal Pradesh staged a mass prayer rally at Dharamsala to express their solidarity with fellow Tibetans who had resorted to self-immolation in their homeland as a mark of protest against the repressive policies of the Chinese government. Apart from Tibetans, scores of locals and tourists also took part in the candle light procession dedicated to Rechok, a 33 year-old mother of three, who had set herself on fire and died in Zamthang area of Eastern Tibet.
