Tinsukia: Arms recovered from cremation ground

In a joint operation by the Army, paramilitary forces and police, a cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from a cremation ground in Tinsukia distict of Assam. While the police suspect the weapons belong to Maoist insurgents, four of whom were killed and the rest fled after a shootout in the area, no official confirmation has been made to this effect.
