Tourists flock to Gujarat to attend Kite Festival

Dozens of tourists gathered at silver jubilee edition of International Kite Festival in Ahmedabad to join hundreds of Kite-flying enthusiasts. Foreign nationals from different countries brought their kites and participated in the mega event. Thrilled spectators were seen gazing at vibrant and some peculiar shaped kites sailing in the sky. Another visitor from China seemed thrilled to experience the festival. The annual kite-flying festival, which marks the start of spring, involved aerial duels in which participants tried to bring down each other's kites. The popular festival spelled magic for the tourism industry in the state and has made Gujarat a favourite destination for hundreds of kite fliers from across the world.
