Two ancient churches vandalized in Kochi

In a pattern of attacks on Christian churches and prayer houses sweeping parts of southern India, mobs vandalized a 1,000-year-old cathedral and a 450-year-old church in Kochi district of Kerala state on Sunday. Police and eyewitnesses said the windows and doors of both were broken and a Jesus statue was damaged in the church cemetery.
