UPA II Cabinet reshuffle an exercise in vain: BJP

The BJP has termed the much-hyped UPA II cabinet reshuffle as an exercise in vain saying it will not help in refurbishing the image of the government embroiled in corruption. Addressing a news conference in Chandigarh on Saturday, senior BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy said that the government should have sought a mandate in Parliament and proven its majority before going for this exercise.
