Violin industry in Uttar Pradesh binds Hindus, Muslims

Moradabad, located in northern state of Uttar Pradesh is renowned for its handicrafts all across the world. And one sector that has flourished in the city is the business of hand made violins. The musical instrument made here has not only carved a niche for itself in global market but has also managed to bind Hindus and Muslims together. Artisans of different faiths are involved in the manufacturing and export of the musical instrument. For years these artisans have been carving each piece from wood and have developed tremendous expertise in making the instrument.
