Watch: Chennai road caves in due to ongoing metro construction

A part of the road near the Rajiv Gandhi General hospital in Chennai caved in due to the ongoing Metro rail tunnel construction. No casualties have been reported as yet. Government General Hospital is one of the six entry and exit points to the Chennai Central Metro Station. Several such incidents at Chennai Metro Rail construction sites have been reported in the past few months. Last month, a large portion of the Poonamallee High Road caved in due to the tunnelling work for the metro.
