West Bengal has got its freedom: Mamata

With West Bengal assembly polls trends going completely if favour of TMC, Mamta Banerjee on Friday, called the drubbing of her opponents a 'people's victory. Addressing a massive gathering of supporters outside the TMC headquarters in Kolkata, Banerjee said the people of West Bengal had finally got freedom from Communists misrule. However, the landmark poll sweep of the TMC over the Left front has also cemented Banerjee's position as the Congress top ally in the national parliament.
