A women cooperative has brought about a 'white revolution' in a village in India's most populous state, Uttar Pradesh. From the previous 240 litres of milk a day, the village cooperative now supplies 86,000 litres of milk to the national capital New Delhi. The dairy farmers said they were able to increase their yield manifold after tying up with the largest milk processor in the national capital, 'Mother Dairy'.
