India's proudest global moment: Burj Khalifa & Times Square deliver jaw-dropping tricolour displays

India’s 80th Independence Day celebrations went global as iconic landmarks in Dubai, New York and Seattle joined the festivities. Dubai’s Burj Khalifa was illuminated in saffron, white and green, drawing crowds of Indian expatriates and residents. In New York, Times Square hosted an Independence Day celebration where Consul General Binay Srikant Pradhan hoisted the Tricolour. Indian-American communities also gathered in Seattle for cultural performances and celebrations highlighting India’s rich heritage and strong international ties.
