Iran's tit-for-tat, brings up Minneapolis murder to taunt USA at UN as America 'backs' protestors

Iran’s deputy U.N. envoy Gholamhossein Darzi tells the Security Council that the U.S. is using “theatrical” briefers and fabricated casualty figures to cover up its own role in steering violent unrest in Iran, likening recent attacks to ISIS‑style terrorism carried out by armed separatist groups backed by foreign powers. He condemns threats of U.S. military action as a grave breach of the U.N. Charter, insists Iran is exercising “maximum restraint” while confronting terrorist cells rather than peaceful protesters, and says any aggression will draw a decisive but lawful Iranian response under Article 51.
