Thousands of Rubber Ducks Race Through London Canal for Charity

Thousands of rubber ducks took to Regent's Canal in London on Thursday, July 30, as part of an annual fundraising race supporting Cosmic, a charity that helps babies and children receiving intensive care. The canal turned bright yellow as buckets of numbered rubber ducks were released from a bridge and floated along a 100-metre stretch towards the finish line. Paddle boarders and boaters helped guide the ducks while crowds cheered from the sidelines. Now in its 10th year, the event allows participants to sponsor individual ducks, with proceeds going to Cosmic. The winning duck's sponsor took home Eurostar tickets, while runners-up were greeted with cheers and applause.
