Israel’s $100M UAVs will soon be reduced to scrap in seconds? Iran’s exploding Jaljaleh mines ready

Iran has reportedly deployed a new “Jaljaleh” air‑defence mine, a jumping booby‑trap designed to destroy low‑flying helicopters and drones by launching up to about 350 meters and detonating with a 5‑meter blast radius that throws shrapnel out to roughly 15 meters. Defence Index and Militarnyi note the system appears derived from earlier YM‑J‑AHM and YM‑J‑AHM2 anti‑helicopter mines, which use acoustic sensors to detect engine noise and engage targets at 150–300 meters, and analysts see the deployment as part of Iran’s preparations for a possible new clash with Israel after this year’s brief but intense 12‑day war.
