Russia has carried out a major Arctic naval exercise in the Barents Sea, showcasing some of its most advanced missile systems, including Kalibr, Vulkan, Oniks, and Granit cruise missiles. President Vladimir Putin's Northern Fleet coordinated strikes involving warships, coastal missile batteries, and a nuclear-powered submarine during the large-scale drill. Moscow says the exercise demonstrates its ability to detect, track, and destroy hostile naval forces in the Arctic. Is this a warning to NATO as military competition intensifies across Europe's northern frontier?
