The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a dramatic new statement claiming it struck key U.S. military assets at Kuwait's Ali Al-Salem Air Base during Wave 22 of Operation Nasr 2. According to the IRGC, the attack destroyed an American early warning radar system, hit an MQ-9 Reaper drone hangar, and damaged an aviation equipment facility, allegedly setting multiple drones on fire. In an unprecedented message addressed directly to the people of Kuwait, the IRGC accused the United States of using Kuwaiti territory to launch attacks against Iran and called on Kuwaitis to prevent their country from being used as a staging ground for future operations.
