Togo’s Foreign Minister Robert Dussey stressed the importance of Russian military support and technology for West African security, calling Lavrov a close partner. Equatorial Guinea also underscored Russia’s role in addressing terrorism, piracy and regional security challenges, describing Russia as a trusted partner committed to peace, mutual respect and shared interests across Africa.
