After Vellore, Rs 1.48 cr seized in Andipatti from alleged Dhinakaran cadre

Days after the Lok Sabha election in Tamil Nadu's Vellore constituency was cancelled due to seizure of dubious cash, the I-T Department has made similar seizures in Andipatti. Cash amounting to Rs 1.48 crore was confiscated from a shop allegedly linked to a worker of the Amma Makkal Munetra Kazhagam, the party led by TTV Dhinakaran. Earlier, in Vellore, seizure of Rs 11.53 crore in cash allegedly from a DMK leader, had led to cancellation of the poll in the constituency.
