‘People hungry but made to do Yoga’: Sidhu’s jibe at PM Modi
Updated on Apr 17, 2019 06:09 pm IST
Criticising the Central government for its priorities, Punjab Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu mocked PM Modi's focus on Yoga and Jan Dhan scheme. Sidhu said that those who were hungry were being made to do Yoga, and those who didn't have any money were getting bank accounts. The BJP has credited itself for developing Yoga as a soft power tool in India's diplomatic arsenal. The implementation of the Jan Dhan scheme has been hailed by the ruling party as a watershed moment for financial inclusion of the weaker sections.
