‘Neither Congress nor I coined ‘chowkidar chor hai’ slogan’: Rahul Gandhi

Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said that Congress did not coined the slogan 'chowkidar chor hai'. He said that the slogan came up during one of his speeches in Chhattisgarh. “A reporter asked me how you came up with 'chowkidar chor hai' slogan, I told him that during a speech in Chhattisgarh, when I said 'chowkidar' then youth, who were standing there said 'chor hai'. This slogan was not invented by Congress or Rahul Gandhi, this is the slogan of the countrymen,” Rahul said. The Gandhi scion was speaking at a public rally in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind.
