‘Rahul Gandhi’s historic blunder’: Left contestant in Wayanad
Updated on Apr 22, 2019 04:14 pm IST
Left Democratic Front's candidate in Wayanad, Kerala calls Rahul Gandhi's candidature from the seat a 'historic blunder'. PP Suneer, a CPI leader, accuses the Congress President of hurting the 'secular, democratic forces' in the country by choosing a seat which doesn't have a strong BJP presence. Gandhi says he is contesting from the southern state, apart from his traditional seat Amethi, as a show of solidarity with the region which he claims has been under attack from the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance government. Kerala's Wayanad goes to vote on April 23.
