Rahul vs Smriti: Who’s ahead; and will Sonia & Rajnath retain bastions?

With 50 seats going to polls across 7 states in phase 5 of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, all eyes are on 3 constituencies voting in Uttar Pradesh. The Gandhi bastions of Amethi and Raebareli, held by Rahul and Sonia Gandhi respectively, are voting in phase 5. The most keenly watched contest is between Rahul Gandhi and Union Minister Smriti Irani. The other high profile battle is in Uttar Pradesh's capital city, Lucknow, where the Samajwadi Party-Bahujan Samaj Party 'gathbandhan' has fielded Poonam Sinha against Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
