French President Emmanuel Macron, facing backlash over his ‘Israel killing babies’ remarks, has now clarified that he didn’t want to accuse Tel Aviv of “intentionally harming civilians” in Gaza. In a phone call with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Macron said that his comments were made only in reference to the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
