Tehran claims NATO members that provided bases, airports, or logistical support share responsibility for the conflict and its consequences. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said Rutte's remarks exposed Europe's direct role in the war, while Iran warned that countries facilitating attacks could also face accountability. Meanwhile, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni reiterated that Italy neither participated in nor plans to participate in military strikes against Iran.
