Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the election results in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan were an alarm bell for the opposition INDIA alliance. He said the opposition must amend its ways or cost being annihilated by the voters. Congress failed to unseat BJP in Madhya Pradesh and lost Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan to the saffron party. Telangana was the sole consolation for Congress as it ousted two-time Chief Minister KCR’s government.
