Myanmar earthquake: chilling prediction on toll; not 100s but 1000s could be dead; scientist says…

Not hundreds, but thousands could be dead in the Myanmar earthquake, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) said in a statement. 144 people have been killed, while more than 700 have been injured. A USGS scientist also explained why earthquakes occur and how the jolts to Myanmar could be extremely fatal.
