7 months on, Agri Min reiterates ‘no repeal’ of farm laws to protesting farmers

Union Minister of Agriculture & Family Welfare, Narendra Singh Tomar, reiterated his stand on the Farms Bills 2020. Several farm unions have been protesting against the new bills since late last year. Government has held various rounds of talks with protesting farmers. "We have told the farmers' union that the government is ready for discussions on provisions of the farm laws except for repealing the laws," Tomar said. Meanwhile, farmer leaders have stuck to their demand of taking back the laws. Watch the full video for more details.
