Union Home Minister Amit Shah broke silence on the issue of targeted killings in Pakistan on April 19. Speaking with India Today, Shah said, "Whoever did the killings, what is the problem? The agency will do their jobs; why should we interfere?". On April 4, the UK outlet 'The Guardian' reported that India was behind the assassination of 20 people in Pakistan since 2019.
