As cases surge, Israel says Pfizer less effective against Delta variant of Covid

- The Ministry of Health of Israel said that it has witnessed the efficacy rate of Pfizer’s vaccine drop to 64% against the Delta variant of Covid. However, vaccines were still effective in preventing hospitalization and sever illness. Israel has had one of the most successful inoculation drives in the world with 55% of its population completely vaccinated. The country had removed all Covid curbs on June 1 but according to reports, due to a recent surge in cases, it is mulling over imposing restrictions again. Watch the full video for more details.
