BJP scores big in three Lok Sabha and seven assembly seats bypoll battle across five states and Union Territory of Delhi. The Bharatiya Janata Party has won 5 out of 10 seats up for grabs in the by-elections. Out of the 3 Lok Sabha seats, BJP sweeped two in Uttar Pradesh while Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar) bagged the Sangrur seat. Sangrur is Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's home turf and was his former Lok Sabha seat. However, AAP had something to cheer about in Delhi as its candidate Durgesh Pathak won the Rajinder Nagar seat. In Tripura, Chief Minister Manik Saha, who needed to get elected to keep his post, won in Town Bardowali. Watch this report for full detail on bypoll results.
