- Canada’s lower house has passed a unanimous resolution to declare November a Hindu Heritage month. The motion initiated by Indo-Canadian MP Chandra Arya, is still to be debated, and passed by the Senate. It calls upon the Canadian government to “recognize the contributions that Hindu-Canadians have made to the socio-economic development of Canada, and their services to Canadian society.” Watch this video for more.
