China censors ‘Beijing’ over rare anti-Xi protest; Denies stir ever took place

- China's internet censors on Friday virtually removed all references to any reports of a protest in Beijing that involved banners denouncing President Xi Jinping. Beijing is on high alert after the reported anti-govt protest, traces of which have been removed from social media sites. Phrases, hashtags and keywords associated with the reported protest have also been removed from all platforms.
