China increasing deployment at friction points along LAC? Govt responds

- MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi responded to reports of China increasing troops and infrastructure at friction points along the LAC again. The External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said that the process of disengagement is yet to be completed and added that early completion of the process could lead to further de-escalation. He also said that till the time the de-escalation is complete, both countries should refrain from taking steps that would violate the terms of the understanding reached earlier this year.
