Defence Minister Rajnath on Taliban takeover; Indian military to assess impact

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has said the change of equations in Afghanistan is a new challenge for India and that it has forced the country to rethink its strategy. The minister's comments came in the wake of Taliban takeover of Afghanistan. Rajnath said that a new strategy is being framed to deal with the new challenge, amid apprehensions of rise in terror activities in Jammu and Kashmir due to Taliban's return to power.
