How Modi minister justified fuel price hike in Parliament amid opposition uproar

Union government has defended the fresh hike in petrol, diesel and LPG prices in the country, blaming it on the ongoing war in Russia. Petroleum Minister Hardeep Puri told Parliament that the military conflict in Ukraine has caused a big surge in global oil prices which has also impacted India. He said that despite massive rise in fuel prices globally, Modi government has kept the prices under control. Watch the video for more.
